To the Campus Community:
As the main focal point for communications for our campus, the Rutgers–Camden web site serves multiple audiences: our current students, faculty, and staff; our alumni; prospective students; families; the citizens of our region; and so many more.
Individuals visit, and return to, our website to find the information that they need as well as to learn more about the extraordinary achievements of our campus community.
Last winter, the campus conducted a number of online surveys and in-person focus groups with our current and prospective students, faculty, and staff to gauge how the Rutgers–Camden web site might be of better service to our audiences. We learned that our users wanted a more visually dynamic web presence, and more access to the information that they need.
To that end, the Rutgers–Camden core website has developed a new look, which is available at http://newlook.camden.rutgers.edu. This new site is not yet live; we will continue to maintain the current web design and navigation at http://camden.rutgers.edu for several weeks before transitioning the new site into its permanent home as our core website.
During this period, your help would be appreciated greatly. Every web site is a continuous work in progress, and that’s especially true of a new site. You may notice information that you would like to see readily accessible in the Site Index at the bottom of each page, or details that should be included on certain pages. That’s valuable insight, and we would welcome your feedback. While we might not be able to implement every recommendation, we will do our best to incorporate your thoughtful comments into the new core website in order to provide every user with the best possible experience. Send your comments and suggestions to msepanic@camden.rutgers.edu.
Please take some time to visit the new Rutgers–Camden core website in its temporary home at http://newlook.camden.rutgers.edu. In advance, thank you for your feedback.
