Each year since 1985, the president of the United States and Congress designate the first full week of May as Public Service Recognition Week and activities are held nationwide and around the world to celebrate public employees who put service above self. In that tradition, the Rutgers School of Public Affairs and Administration at Rutgers University in Newark will host a panel discussion entitled “Youth Leadership: Generating Passion for Change.” The panelists will propose recommendations for fostering youth interest in leadership, service, and innovation. |
